Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; NH Medical Technician Certification preferred.
• One to three years of experience in sterile processing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prepare, and sterilize equipment and supplies in accordance with established standards and policies.
• Operate sterilization equipment (steam, Sterrad) and washers/decontaminators.
• Maintain records including steam/Sterrad cycles and biological monitoring.
• Inspect and label hospital instrument trays and linen packs; delint and fold as needed.
• Report equipment or supply issues to supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
