Summerlin Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to manage the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation, including disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization. The role requires operating ultrasonic cleaners and sterilizers with rigorous quality monitoring and documentation to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Twelve months minimum in Sterile Processing preferred.
• Certification as CRCST through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association is required and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Manage the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation including disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, high level disinfection, and sterilization.
• Operate ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and other equipment.
• Complete quality monitoring and documentation.
• Pick supplies and instruments to prepare case carts for surgery.
• Perform quality assurance activities.
• Assist with supply inventory management and clinic instrument rounds.
• Mentor, train, coach, and role model for new Sterile Processing Techs.
