Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville/Tennessee is seeking a CSP Endo Tech to assist all perioperative areas with sterile processing and instrument preparation. You will ensure instrumentation is sterile, ready for use, and support endoscopy procedures across perioperative areas.

The role requires prior sterile processing experience, with preferred training or certification. Shift is 6:30AM–3:00PM, Sunday through Thursday, and the environment emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Preferential experience in sterile processing with potential clinical rotations.
• Hands-on instrument processing, decontamination and sterilization preferred.
• Certification or training in sterile processing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work environment in a safe, clean, orderly manner.
• Performs, documents and monitors all quality control tools.
• Receives and inventories departmental supplies, instrumentation and equipment.
• Prepares instrumentation and equipment for high-level disinfection and sterilization.
• Operates all departmental equipment safely and effectively.
• Scans instrumentation and assembles, according to procedures.
• Provides technical support for Endoscopy Procedures in perioperative areas.
