Job summary

St Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join our Central Sterile Processing team. This part-time role covers evening shifts and requires CRCST certification and prior sterile processing experience.

You will be responsible for safe handling, cleaning and sterilization of instrument sets, inspecting and assembling OR instruments, and maintaining implantable hardware to support operating room readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST certification required.

8 hour shifts, 20 hours per week, rotating shift, rotation for weekends and holidays.

Summary:

The role of the technician is to ensure the safe handling, care, cleaning and sterilization procedures and maintained within the department. The Sterile Processing Technician performs instrument inspection, assembly and maintenance of all OR instrument, and implantable hardware.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• Must have at least 1 year of previous Sterile Processing experience outside of clinical hours for certification.
