Job summary

Michigan Orthopaedic Surgeons PLLC is seeking a Sterile Reprocessing Technician to ensure decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments in a healthcare setting.

The role requires at least one year of sterile processing experience and a graduate of an accredited program or approved on-the-job training with CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification. The position supports infection control and quality improvement programs on-site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in Sterile Processing.
• Graduate of Accredited Program in Sterile Processing or approved on the job training with CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instrumentation for the decontamination process by disassembly and pre-processing.
• Operate disinfection and sterilization equipment according to manufacturers’ specifications.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including maintenance of instruments processing logs.
• Assemble processed instruments for use.
• Perform other duties as assigned and support quality initiatives.
