Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is hiring for sterile processing roles. You will prepare, package, and sterilize reusable medical supplies and linens for the health system, and you will collect, clean, disinfect, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.
• 1 year Prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

Education

National Certified Registered Central Service Technician – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association

National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work

1 year Sterile Processing experience in a hospital setting
