Job summary

Overlake Hospital is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Sterile Processing Department in Bellevue, WA. The role involves decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of all reprocessed items, including full surgical instrument trays, with duties overseen by the shift supervisor.

Full-time position, evenings/nights, 40 hours per week. Qualifications include High School diploma, CRSCT/CBSPD certification within a year, and 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRSCT or CBSPD certification within one year of hire.
• At least one year of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization principles.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, package and sterilize all reprocessed items and equipment, including full surgical instrument trays.
• Develop and maintain systems and projects under the direction of the shift supervisor.
• Assist and train new personnel during their onboarding and training period.
