Job summary

Surgery Center 121 is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join a fast-paced ophthalmology-focused team. The CST will support sterilization, instrument prep, and OR readiness in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates bring sterile processing experience, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety. This role is full-time with consistent day shifts and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing Technician/Surgical Processing program preferred.
• Prior experience in sterile processing, operating room support, or surgical services preferred.
• Ophthalmology or ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and inspect instruments and equipment.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment according to guidelines.
• Document daily equipment checks and testing results.
• Report safety concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain inventory of instruments and sterile supplies.
• Prepare instrument trays per scheduled cases and surgeon requirements.
• Maintain records for sterilization, quality control, and instrument tracking.
