Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments. You will perform maintenance, decontamination, prepping, sterilization, and proper handling and storage, contributing to patient safety and efficiency in the perioperative setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of acute health care experience, knowledge of surgical instruments, and familiarity with sterile processing supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• One (1) year of experience in acute health care.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and their use.
• Knowledge of supplies and equipment used during sterile processing.
• LA City fire card within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities
