Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred; other certifications may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, clean, disinfect, and decontaminate instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Operate washer-decontaminator, cart washer, and ultrasonic cleaner.
• Inspect instruments and equipment for cleanliness and proper working order; wrap or containerize as needed.
• Scan barcodes and prepare trays, count sheets and indicators for sterilization cycles.
• Monitor sterilizers and report malfunctions to supervision.
