Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, sterilize, and assemble instrument trays for surgical procedures. You will operate washers and sterilizers, document processing, and maintain accurate inventory while adhering to infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, and disinfects instruments and equipment per protocol.
• Assembles instrument trays and packs according to written instructions.
• Operates sterilizers and documents loads; ensures biological monitoring per policy.
• Builds surgical cases by pulling supplies and labeling locations.
• Fulfills OR and Pre-op/PACU requests and participates in training of associates.
