Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to support the Sterile Processing Department. You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and store patient care instrumentation under policy and procedure, and may assist in operating room sterile cores.

Requires a high school diploma/GED and two years of related experience; CRCST or CSPDT certification within 180 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterilization practices, and case cart assembly.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively.
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) within 180 days or CSPDT certification.

Responsibilities
