WakeMed in Cary, NC is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech II to help ensure surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and ready to support exceptional patient care. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments while operating sterilization equipment to maintain safety and readiness.

The ideal candidate holds a Sterile Processing certification and has at least one year of related experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must hold Sterile Processing certification.
• 1 year Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Operate and monitor sterilization and decontamination equipment.
