Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the department. You will focus on cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, inspecting, and managing surgical instruments to ensure patient safety. This role does not involve direct patient contact.

Responsibilities include receiving used instruments, loading sterilizers, performing quality checks, and assisting with inventory and maintenance. Onsite work with a Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in sterile processing or central service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive used instruments from operating rooms.
• Load and operate sterilizers per protocol.
• Perform quality checks on instruments and packaging.
• Manage inventory and restock sterile supplies.
• Maintain sterilization equipment and provide guidance to staff.
