Job summary

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech II to prepare and distribute supplies for patient care and operating rooms. The role includes managing PAR-based inventories and ensuring instruments are decontaminated, repackaged, sterilized, and returned as needed.

Candidates should have CRCST certification (IAHCSM) or be able to obtain it within 9 months, with six months in healthcare sterile processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute supplies and equipment for patient care areas and ORs.
• Count and replenish processed supplies based on PAR levels and surgical cases.
• Decontaminate, repack, sterilize, and return reusable instruments.
• Collect, clean and store patient care equipment between uses.
• Track some rental equipment and assist in training new technicians.
