The role involves assembling and sterilizing instruments, trays, utensils, and linen packs, with weekend rotation and on-call requirements, while adhering to a strict dress code and wearing surgical scrubs.

The technician will use aseptic technique, operate steam/plasma sterilizers, document tests, and support training of staff, ensuring accurate case cart builds and timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble instrument trays, linen, and utensils per standards.
• Operate steam/plasma sterilizers and record tests.
• Train staff and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Perform spot checks of paperwork and labeling.
• Maintain case cart build records and respond to OR requests.
• Conduct routine inventory of supplies and instruments.
