Texas Health Plano seeks a Sterile Processing Technician II to support Central Sterile Processing. On-site at 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093, evenings, full time 40 hours/week, 2-10:30pm with rotating weekends.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; CSPDT/CBSPD/CRCST certifications on hire; 1 year of experience preferred. Duties include instrument tray processing, tracking, and sterilization loading. Benefits include 401k and EAP.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year sterile processing experience preferred.
• Recent sterile processing experience a plus.
• CSPDT/CBSPD/CRCST certification upon hire required.

Aufgaben

• Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.
• Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.
• Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray.
• Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the instrument tracking system.
• Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method.
• Scans prepared items into correct sterilizer load.
