Job summary

Maine Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Supply Technician II to perform decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment. The role supports safe patient care by ensuring sterile products are prepared correctly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may need CRCST certification within 24 months depending on location. This position is based on-site at Maine Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Licensure: CRCST preferred or may be required within 24 months of start date based on location.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience required.
• Additional Skills: Competent in decontamination of at least three technical areas.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies and equipment.
• Assist in selection of safe and effective supplies and equipment to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
