Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the NGH Central Service & Supply team. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, store, and distribute instruments in compliance with IFU and policy, supporting patient care and surgical services.

Minimum two years of Central Service experience, High School diploma or GED, and CRCST or CBSPD certification are required, with on-site night shifts and a strong focus on quality and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification or equivalent required; CBSPD preferred.
• Minimum of two years in sterile processing or central service.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates, inspects, assembles, packages, and sterilizes instruments per IFU and policy.
• Maintains storage, traceability, and distribution of instruments and implants.
• Performs routine checks, monitors equipment, and documents data.
• Supports regulatory readiness and quality assurance activities.
