Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the Perioperative Services team at Washington University Medical Center. This full-time role supports OR workflow by preparing equipment, sterilizing instruments, assembling trays, and ensuring sterile integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with sterilization processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates steam sterilizers and builds case carts for surgeries.
• Troubleshoots sterilization equipment and supports OR teams.
• Disassembles, cleans, inspects and reassembles instrumentation per standards.
• Transports and handles case carts and supplies for various procedures.
• Maintains proper documentation of set contents and sterilization cycles.
