• Test and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipment
• Sterilize, prepare, wrap and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures
• Prepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, medical procedures and medical carts

Overview

As our Sterile Processing Tech II at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, you’ll help our team oversee the sterilization and cleaning of medical equipment, instruments or supplies in a sterile processing environment.

To be a successful sterile processing technician, you should be meticulous with strong attention to detail. You should have a good working knowledge of a variety of sterilization techniques and be able to work with fragile equipment.
