Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Sterile Processing Department Technician I to support inpatient care by processing and distributing instruments and medical equipment. You will input patient charges and ensure compliance with department procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years SPD or Surgical Technician experience, or enrollment in a Sterile Processing or Surgical Technician program within 6 months of hire; this position operates under the STC SEIU CBA.
Hours: Shift Start Time: Variable Shift End Time: Variable AWS Hours Requirement: 8/40 - 8 Hour Shift Additional Shift Information: Night Shift Weekend Requirements: As Needed On-Call Required: No Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $25.000 - $26.920 - $31.860 This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU. In alignment with the STC SEIU CBA, this position will be posted for 7 days internally from 09/09/26 to 09/17/26 and available only to existing members of the ratified STC SEIU Bargaining Unit.
The Sterile Processing Department Technician I are responsible for the processing and distribution of instruments and medical equipment used in-patient care areas and for the input of patient charges.
