Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I to clean, sterilize, organize, and distribute patient equipment, instruments, supplies, and products. This role supports infection control and adheres to safety standards.

The position offers immediate eligibility for health benefits, a 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1, with a Thurs-Mon 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift. Join a not-for-profit system committed to well-being.

Competenze

• Education requirement: HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience requirement: Less than 1 year in sterile processing preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization methods and infection control practices is desirable.

Mansioni

• Prepares rooms and organizes instruments, equipment, treatment trays and supplies for specified departments.
• Cleans and decontaminates instruments, containers, and patient equipment following detergents and disinfectants; operates sterilization equipment and washers.
• Receives, stocks, rotates, and checks goods; pulls expired goods; fills and distributes internal orders; handles reusable trays, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintains and controls inventory; maintains applicable records and files.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, manufacturer and infection control practices.
