Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech I to join our team on the night shift (FT; M-F, 10:30pm–7:00am). The role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing, processing, organizing, and distributing patient equipment, instruments, and supplies within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Successful candidates bring a HS diploma or GED and less than 1 year of related experience. Responsibilities include instrument decontamination, inventory management, and adherence

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in sterile processing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares rooms and organizes instruments and supplies for departments.
• Sterilizes and decontaminates instruments using approved methods.
• Receives, stocks, checks, and distributes goods and equipment.
• Maintains inventory records and compliance with safety and infection control policies.
