Responsibilities

• Accurately handles and prepares instruments for sterilization and selection of cleaning agents.
• Identifies, documents, and reports equipment needing repair and ensures maintenance.
• Organizes, assembles, and sterilizes instruments per standards.
• Peel-packs and wraps instruments, inspects for use and cleanliness.
• Loads and operates cleaning/sterilization equipment safely.
• Maintains records of equipment and supplies; assists in ordering.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to policies.
• Supports professional growth and serves as a mentor to staff.
• Models compassionate, personalized experiences in line with service standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
