Stanford Health Care is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician I to support the Sterile Processing Department operations. You will assist with decontamination, assembly, sterilization and storage of patient care instrumentation, equipment and supplies.

You will work collaboratively to maintain inventory, follow safety guidelines, and participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Formación

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Required experience: None.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with training of new staff.
• Assures prudent use of resources and maintains inventory.
• Follows Hospital Safety and Infection Prevention policy and guidelines.

• Performs sterile processing tasks per standard procedures and regulations.
