The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assemble and deliver instrument carts and coordinate with surgical teams to ensure all supplies are ready for procedures.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and certification (IAHCSMM or CBSPD).

Formación

• Experience in sterile processing preferred: 1 year.
• Certification in IAHCSMM or CBSPD is required.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Rotate
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based sterile processing activities.

Responsibilities

Responsible for activities including, but not limited to decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications, assembly, and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

Preferred: 1 year in sterile processing.

Certifications:

Required: IAHCSMM or CBSPD certified.
