• 1 year of sterile processing experience or a new graduate preferred.
• Must obtain CSPDT, CBSPD, and CRCST certifications within 2 years.

Sterile Processing Tech (Full Time-Nights)

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time - 40 Hours; Nights Shift; Monday-Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am with rotating weekends

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1 Year sterile processing experience or new graduate preferred
• CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 2 Years required
• CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution within 2 Years required
• CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 2 Years required

What You Will Do

• Scan instrument trays for location and create count sheets/labels.
• Demonstrate proper assembly, wrapping, and containment of instrument trays.
• Track instrument trays using the instrument tracking system.
• Perform decontamination processes according to policy, including manual cleaning and use of automated washers (ultrasonic, instrument, cart washers).
• Test and document washer operation and safety equipment like eyewash and showers.
• Load sterilization equipment properly.
