A healthcare facility in Memphis is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to manage tasks related to decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant training or experience, and be certified within 12 months of hire. This position is vital for ensuring the provision of accurate surgical instrumentation in collaboration with surgical teams.

Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/Surg and Telemetry.
Responsible for all task-based sterile processing activities.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required: Completion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course with field training or 1 year of experience as Sterile Processing Technician or Operating Technician.
To be certified with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 12 months of hire date.
Current certification through internationally recognized organizations such as IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management) or Certification Board for Central Sterile Processing.
