Responsible for instrument/instrument tray/equipment decontamination, preparation, sterilization, tray and case cart assembly, documentation of sterilization processes, and delivery of surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment to the Perioperative team. CSPD personnel ensure high standards in accordance with departmental procedures and industry standards. May serve as a preceptor to staff.
