Job summary

White Oak Medical Center is hiring an experienced Sterile Processing Tech for the Central and Sterile Processing department. The role supports disassembly, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of instruments and supplies, following aseptic procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in sterile processing, certification from an accredited organization, and BLS from American Heart Association. Evening shift with 40 hours weekly and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred.
• Certification from an accredited organization.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Sterile Processing Tech for our Central and Sterile Processing department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes and stores procedure trays instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision
• Completes requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assists in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred
• Certification from an accredited organization
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Schedule

• Work Schedule: 5 x 8hr shifts (3pm-11pm)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 40 hours per week (Five 8-hour shifts)
• Typical Daily Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm
• Shift Type: Evening
• Weekend Requirements: Required, every other weekend rotation
• Holiday Requirements: Required to follow company holiday calendar

Pay Range: $20.07 - $26.42
