Job summary

King City Gardens is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician for an evening shift in Wilmington, OH. You will ensure cleanliness and sanitation in a cannabis production facility, maintain logs, and manage tools, trays, and ISO/alcohol supplies.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to operate washers and ultrasonic cleaners. On-site work with full-time hours offers health and dental benefits after 30 days and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or highly regulated sanitary environment.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ability to safely operate washers, ultrasonic machines, and other cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleaning standards.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Good communication with Production and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assess processing areas for cleanliness and readiness, ensuring tools, drawers, tins, and trays are clean and properly organized.
• Collect dirty tools and trays and return to washroom.
• Clean dirty tools using washers or ultrasonic equipment and thoroughly clean trays.
• Inspect washers and ultrasonic machines to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
• Follow drainage schedule for ultrasonic machine and maintain logs.
• Return clean tools and trays to designated areas and keep stations stocked.
• Prepare clean, dry tools for lunch switches and production changeovers.
• Stock towels and manage drying racks on schedule.
• Maintain sink and washroom areas and prepare cleaning water.
• Distribute ISO bottles and manage alcohol supplies.
• Inspect and clean Sauce Stations and rollers, mats on production floor.
• Perform end-of-day cleaning and remove Sauce residue from rollers.
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and comply with procedures.
