Job summary

Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and sterile supplies.

You will assemble and deliver case carts, replenish materials, and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure instruments are ready for procedures; prior experience or a willingness to learn is valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Licensure/Certifications: BLS. IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified.
• Experience: 1 year in sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications
• Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts,
• Paring and replenishment of materials
• Working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed supplies
• Other duties as assigned
