Job summary

Linton-Delray Beach Surgery Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join our team. This full-time role maintains and prepares surgical instruments for diverse procedures and supports efficient OR operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years in sterile processing, and preferably completion of a sterile processing certification; familiarity with sterilizers and OR instrumentation is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
