Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a CSPD Technician for a full-time Day shift at Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. This role focuses on instrument decontamination, preparation and sterilization, and delivery of surgical instrumentation to the Perioperative team.

Applicants should have 2 years in sterile processing or be enrolled in a sterile processing program with at least 400 internship hours. Day shift, in-person position with opportunities to support department goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sterile processing experience required or actively in a sterile processing training program.
• Currently enrolled in a sterile processing training program and/or has completed 400 hours of a sterile processing internship.
• Experience with instrument decontamination and sterilization procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate instrumentation and medical equipment using chemical agents and automated machinery.
• Sterilize instruments following prescribed procedures and monitor the process for validation.
• Assemble, prep and pack instrumentation; inspect for cleanliness and function; manage case carts and sterile storage.
