Essentia Health in Brainerd, MN, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for St. Joseph's Medical Center.

The role rotates day and evening shifts across 7:00am–3:30pm, 10:00am–6:30pm, and 2:00pm–10:30pm, with every fifth weekend on call and holiday rotations. You will reprocess reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment, ensuring clean, safe, sterile gear is available for surgery and other units, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a demanding healthcare

Qualifications

• No educational requirements.
• CRCST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and other units.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are clean, safe, and sterile for staff use.
• Attend to daily tasks with attention to detail and reliability.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with PPE and exposure controls.
