Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, part of the Valley Health System and a Universal Health Services entity, seeks a Sterile Processing Technician. You will manage sterilization cycles, operate cleaning and sterilization equipment, and support case cart preparation.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 12 months of Sterile Processing experience, and CRCST certification. Proficiency in English and MS Office is required; training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English (technical skill).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Twelve months minimum in Sterile Processing preferred.
• CRCST certification through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association is required and must be maintained.
• Microsoft Office applications may be used.

Responsibilities

• Manage the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation.
• Operate ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers and other equipment.
• Perform quality monitoring and documentation.
• Pick supplies and instruments to prepare case carts for surgery.
• Assist with supply inventory management and instrument rounds.
• Mentor, train, coach, and role model for new Sterile Processing Techs.
• Commit to excellence, quality, and customer service.
