Job summary

Coffee Road Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Our fast paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. This role requires knowledge of Sterrad and steam/gravity sterilizers, plus strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Prepare reports and keep records.
