Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package and sterilize instruments.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, packages and sterilizes surgical instruments and linens.
• Adheres to the OR schedule and handles instrument tracking with the system.
• Documents processed materials and ensures correct dispatch to location.
• Maintains HIPAA and JCAHO compliance and references MSDS when needed.
