Dartmouth Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize all surgical instrumentation. The role supports per diem scheduling with evening shifts, focusing on maintaining sterile, complete surgical sets and ensuring quality control throughout the process.
Responsibilities include prioritizing instrument readiness, operating sterilizers, assembling case carts, mentoring staff, and communicating discrepancies.
Responsible for the primary decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of all surgical instrumentation and supplies.
- Certified in Sterile Processing through either Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) upon hire.
