Job summary

Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments, and to support the delivery of case carts for procedures. You will work closely with surgical teams to provide complete instrument sets and supplies for all cases.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, and certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD, plus at least 1 year in sterile processing.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications: IAHCSMM or CBSPD certified.
• Experience: 1 year in sterile processing.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
• Handling various software applications, assembly, and delivery of surgical/case carts.
• Paring and replenishment of materials.
• Collaborate with surgical partners to provide accurate instrumentation and supplies.
• Other related duties as assigned.
