Job summary

Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing professional to join our Central Sterile team. This full-time night shift role involves cleaning, decontaminating, sterilizing instruments, and managing sterile supplies to support patient care.

Responsibilities include maintaining infection control standards, adhering to CBSPD/IAHCSMM certifications, and collaborating with perioperative staff to ensure timely, safe instrument processing for procedures.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Sterile Processing Program.
• Must be available to take call to ensure patient care needs are met.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Maintain CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM certification.
• One year of experience as Certified SPT or 400 SPD externship hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning / decontaminating instruments and equipment.
• Sterilization of instruments and handling of sterile supplies.
• Focus on infection control to provide quality patient care.
