Prepare and maintain the many life preserving articles and pieces of equipment that are necessary to provide the utmost in both patient and employee safety and generate the utmost in both patient care. Follow the direction and guidance of the Central Supply Supervisor.
High school graduate or equivalent
Certification by the Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) upon hire or must obtain within two years of hire.
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. (Physical Requirements)
