Massena Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment to ensure patient and staff safety. You will follow the guidance of the Sterile Processing Manager and work closely with hospital units.
The role involves instrument sterilization, inventory control, and adherence to department standards. Per diem union notes apply; local scheduling may vary between day shifts.

Prepare and maintain the many life preserving articles and pieces of equipment that are necessary to provide the utmost in both patient and employee safety and generate the utmost in both patient care. Follow the direction and guidance of the Sterile Processing Manager

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Moderate - These roles require a combination of movement and stationary work, including frequent standing, walking, and moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Tasks may involve repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling, along with maintaining awareness in high‑traffic or operational areas. Visual focus and spatial awareness are critical in facilities, logistics, or support settings. Emotional demands include managing interruptions, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Environmental exposures may include equipment noise, shared workspaces, and occasional proximity to hazardous areas. Physical capability screening may be required. $21.79 - $31.12 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
