Job summary

Dignity Health at Arizona General Hospital-Mesa is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Tech to ensure sterile instruments are available for medical teams and procedures.

You will process and sterilize instruments, assemble trays, run quality checks, and maintain inventory while delivering excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff in a high-quality healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two (2) years surgical instrument experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers case carts using aseptic technique.
• Decontaminates surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
• Prepares and wraps instrument sets for various methods of sterilization.
• Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies.
• Utilizes various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Sterile Processing Tech at Arizona General Hospital-Mesa, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams.

Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to sterilization protocols, working efficiently and expertly to support optimal outcomes.

• Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique with sterile supplies

• Decontaminates surgical instruments and other medical equipment

• Prepares and wraps instrument sets for various methods of sterilization

Pay Range

$18.60 - $23.71 /hour
