Arizona General Hospital-Mesa is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to ensure sterile instrumentation is available for medical teams. You will process, sterilize, assemble trays, perform quality checks, and maintain inventory, enabling safe procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two years' surgical instrument experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique with sterile supplies
• Decontaminates surgical instruments and other medical equipment
• Prepares and wraps instrument sets for various methods of sterilization
• Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies
• Utilizes various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Sterile Processing Tech at Arizona General Hospital-Mesa, you will be a vital link in patient care, ensuring the highest quality, sterile instrumentation is always available to medical teams.

Every day, you will meticulously process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, assembling trays, conducting quality checks, and maintaining inventory. You'll provide excellent service to patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring tools are safe and ready for procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to sterilization protocols, working efficiently and expertly to support optimal outcomes.

• Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique with sterile supplies
