Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for surgical instruments at the Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - St. Anthony’s. Responsibilities include preparing supplies for surgeries. The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma and 1-2 years of experience in Sterile Processing. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
