Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. is seeking an evening-shift, full-time Sterile Processing Technician in Albuquerque, NM. You will handle decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of instruments for the OR and ambulatory clinics, while following all policies to ensure patient safety.

The role requires a High School diploma and a national Sterile Processing certification. Preferred is 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring.
• National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
