Job summary

Children’s Colorado is seeking a Lead Instrument/Sterile Processing Technician to ensure patient safety by managing the decontamination and maintenance of surgical instruments at their Highlands Ranch location. This role involves anticipating OR needs, training staff, and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Qualified candidates must possess at least 3 years of experience in a hospital sterile processing environment and hold relevant certifications. The position is full-time, eligible for benefits, and offers competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in surgical instrumentation in a sterile processing environment.
• Lead experience in sterile processing is preferred.
• Certification as a CRCST, CSPDT, CIS, or CER required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates OR needs and manages workroom effectively.
• Serves as liaison between surgical specialties and the Operating Room.
• Trains staff on sterilization guidelines and procedures.
