Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation.
• Oversee staffing and provide direction and support to department staff to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
• Develop and implement department policies and procedures; maintain supplies and equipment.
• Ensure training and development of staff; establish internal controls and monitor compliance with university policies.
• Coordinate with operating rooms and other departments; drive quality and performance improvements.
